अहंकार
Ahamkara
The ego or I-sense
📜Understanding Ahamkara
Ahamkara is the ego-principle, the sense of individual selfhood that makes us feel separate from others and from the whole. It is the voice that says "I" and "mine," creating the boundary between self and other. While ahamkara is necessary for functioning in the world, problems arise when we become completely identified with this limited sense of self, forgetting our deeper nature.
