Dadi: "Guddu, do you remember the story of the Pandavas spending one year in disguise?"
Guddu: "Yes! In King Virata's kingdom!"
Dadi: "Tonight's story is about Prince Uttara - King Virata's son - and how he discovered who Arjuna really was!"
Guddu: "Was Arjuna in disguise too?"
Dadi: "Yes! He was dressed as Brihannala, a eunuch who taught dance and music. Nobody knew the greatest warrior in the world was teaching the princess how to dance!"
Guddu: "That's funny!"
Dadi: "Near the end of their disguise year, the Kauravas attacked Virata's kingdom to steal their cattle. But King Virata had taken his army elsewhere to fight another battle."
Guddu: "Nobody to defend the kingdom?"
Dadi: "Only young Prince Uttara was left. He boasted loudly: "I'll single-handedly destroy the Kauravas! Just watch me!""
Guddu: "Was he really that strong?"
Dadi: "He thought he was! But when he actually reached the battlefield and saw the massive Kaurava army - Bhishma, Drona, Karna, Duryodhana - all the greatest warriors arrayed against him..."
Guddu: "He got scared?"
Dadi: "Terrified! He jumped off his chariot, threw down his bow and arrows, and started running away!"
Guddu: "That's embarrassing!"
Dadi: "Brihannala - Arjuna in disguise - chased after him, his long braid and red garments fluttering in the wind. The soldiers laughed at the funny sight - a dance teacher running after their prince!"
Guddu: "What did Arjuna do?"
Dadi: "He grabbed Uttara and said: "If you're afraid to fight, at least be my charioteer. I will fight the Kauravas!""
Guddu: "A dance teacher fighting warriors?"
Dadi: "Arjuna led Uttara to a tree where his weapons were hidden. He retrieved his legendary bow Gandiva, and then revealed his true identity."
Guddu: "Prince Uttara must have been shocked!"
Dadi: "Completely! The dance teacher was the invincible Arjuna! With Uttara driving the chariot, Arjuna faced the entire Kaurava army."
Guddu: "One against all of them?"
Dadi: "He used a special weapon called Sammohana Astra that put the entire army to sleep! One by one, he defeated Karna, Drona, Bhishma, Duryodhana - all the greatest warriors!"
Guddu: "Wow!"
Dadi: "He recovered all the stolen cattle and returned victorious. When King Virata heard that his son had won, he was overjoyed - until he learned the truth."
Guddu: "That it was actually Arjuna?"
Dadi: "Yes. The Pandavas' disguise year was complete. They revealed themselves, and King Virata was honored to have hosted them. He offered his daughter to Arjuna."
Guddu: "Did Arjuna marry her?"
Dadi: "He said, "She has been like a student to me. Let her marry my son Abhimanyu instead." And so Princess Uttara became Abhimanyu's wife - and later, the mother of King Parikshit!"
Guddu: "What about Prince Uttara?"
Dadi: "He had learned a valuable lesson. Boasting is easy. Real courage is facing your fears. He had run from battle, but he had the humility to become Arjuna's charioteer and witness true bravery."
Guddu: "Running away isn't the end if you come back."
Dadi: "Exactly, beta. We all get scared sometimes. What matters is what we do next."
